3rd East-Asia Microscopy Conference (EAMC3) - 7 – 10 November 2017
The Korean Society of Microscopy, on behalf of the organizing committee of the 3rd East-Asia Microcopy Conference (EAMC3), cordially invites you to the conference from November 7 to 10, 2017 in Busan, South Korea. The EAMC is held every other year under the auspices of the Committee of Asia-Pacific Societies for Microscopy (CAPSM) and the International Federation of Societies for Microscopy (IFSM).
We are confident that EMAC3 will serve as a significant venue for the exchange of ideas and the exploration of strategies that address current issues confronting the field of microscopy. The conference will feature a diverse array of technical sessions and programs, which are expected to facilitate collaborative and critical discussions between scientists and to offer all participants the unique chance to be exposed to the very latest research on microscopy.
Busan is a beautiful city to satisfy you with everything you may ask for in Korea such as wonderful beaches, rivers and mountains, traditional markets, foods, shopping malls and so on. The venue, BEXCO Busan is located at less than 1 hour trip to Gyeongju historic area of the world cultural heritage, the most popular tour site in Korea. ICON Europe 2018 - 27 February - 2 March 2018
BEYOND THE DIFFRACTION LIMIT BEYOND THE DIFFRACTION LIMIT
Super-resolution imaging methods now can provide spatial resolution that is well below the diffraction limit approaching virtually molecular resolution. They can be applied to biological samples and provide new and exciting views on the structural organization of cells and the dynamics of biomolecular assemblies on wide timescales. These revolutionary developments come with novel requirements for fluorescent probes, labeling techniques, and data interpretation strategies. Researchers from across the scientific spectrum are involved in designing improved tools and solving previously intractable problems using super-resolution techniques.
After a successful inaugural conference in Basel, Switzerland, in 2016, we again invite you to attend the ‘2nd International Conference On Nanoscopy 2018’, which will uniquely focus exclusively on this topic. Held in Bielefeld, Germany from 27 Feb-02 March 2018, it will bring together an international group of experts to discuss the latest advances and future directions in the field.
Speakers include W.E. Moerner (2014 Nobel laureate), Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz, and Alberto Diasprowith Hari Shroff (USA), Stefan Jakobs (Germany), Maxime Dahan (France), Sara Abrahamsson (USA), Jörg Enderlein (Germany), Melike Lakadamyali (Spain), Peter Dedecker (Belgium), Ulrike Endesfelder (Germany), Theo Lasser (Switzerland), Achillefs Kapanidis (UK), Mike Heilemann (Germany), Mark Schüttpelz (Germany), Christian Eggeling (UK), Deblina Sarkar (USA), and others.
