6th Cytometry and Microscopy Symposium - 9 - 12 May 2017

header_cmcs-scmcThe Canadian Cytometry and Microscopy Association (CCMA) and the Microscopical Society of Canada (MSC) have joined forces to bring together international leaders with students, researchers and professionals from the fields of light and electron microscopy, cytometry and material sciences to provide a vision of where we are at and what future developments lie ahead.

In addition to the scientific program, there will be a core facility managers’ meeting organized by the CCMA and numerous hands-on workshops organized by the MSC.

Microscopy and Cytometry are at the forefront of the current dynamic development in the life and material sciences. Attendees will have the opportunity to get inspired by recent advances in our respective fields as well as gain insight into the newest, most cutting-edge technologies which will enable and inspire future discovery.

As the meeting will take place in May in Montreal in the year of its 375th anniversary, come celebrate with us Microscopy, Cytometry, Montréal and the arrival of spring all in one spot. We’re looking forward to seeing you.

15th International Congress of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry (ICHC 2017) - 18 - 21 May 2017

ICHC2017

You are invited to the 15th International Congress of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry (ICHC 2017) in May, 18-21, 2017, Antalya, Turkey.

International Congress of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry, held in every four years under the auspicies of IFSHC has been providing an international medium on up-to-date techniques to contribute to scientific progresses.

The main goal of ICHC 2017 is to bring the worldwide histochemists together and provide an environment for close cooperation, exchange of information and collaborations. As Turkey is centrally located between Europe and Asia, we really hope an easy access of scientists from all areas. Antalya is a charming historical meeting point of Turkey with archaeological sites and monuments, museums and beautiful atmosphere of Mediterranean Coast.

We are very pleased to welcome physicists from all over the world to Gothenburg, Sweden, for the 28th International conference on low temperature physics.

The Low Temperature Physics Conference is an international event held every three years, under the auspices of the IUPAP through its Commission C5 on Low Temperature Physics. The aim of these conferences is to exchange information and views among the members of the international scientific community in the general field of Low Temperature Physics. It is a tradition that LT offers updates on the various topics, provided by the highest representatives of the field, as well as oral and poster contributions in the different areas. As usual the conference covers five subtopics:

  • Quantum fluids and solids
  • Superconductivity
  • Cryogenic techniques and applications
  • Magnetism and quantum phase transitions
  • Quantum transport and quantum information in condensed matter

Gothenburg is situated in the center of Scandinavia, on the Swedish West Coast, and is easily accessed by air. The city’s two universities – Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg – both have a long tradition in low temperature physics research, particularly superconductivity and quantum transport.

13th Multinational Congress on Microscopy - 24 - 29 September 2017

MCM2017

After 14 years, the Multinational Congress on Microscopy (MCM) will again be organized in Croatia on September 24-29, 2017. In its 13th issue, the traditional conference series is returning to Istria, this time to the beautiful coastal town of Rovinj.

MCM2017 will bring together leading experts and young researchers that develop microscopy methods and apply them in the fields of life and material sciences. It will also include a trade exhibition in order to encourage exchange between the producers of microscopy-related equipment and researchers.

MCM conferences have always been an excellent opportunity for microscopists to exchange ideas and experience and to establish new cooperations and joint projects. Our aim is to provide an optimal balance between talks given by world-renowned scientists and a possibility for talented young scientists to introduce themselves to an international audience.

We believe this conference will be a highly rewarding professional and networking experience for all. Additionally, we encourage you to take this opportunity to explore the highlights of coastal town Rovinj with its beautiful surroundings and to experience the unique local blend of nature, culture and gastronomy.
